Religious Organization Website

This project involved converting an existing church website to use the WordPress framework.

The purpose of the website was to give the church a place to provide information regarding upcoming events, group meetings, and contact information, as well as provide links to recent podcasts of sermons.

I performed all the development work necessary to transfer the site. It was written using the WordPress framework, starting from an existing, simple theme, and customizing the theme using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP to match the previous design.

Unfortunately, this version of the website is no longer used.

Cafe Seed Website

This project involved creating a new website for a small restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri.

The purpose of the website was to give the restaurant an online presence in which to provide business and menu information, as well as act as a forum for providing information on upcoming events, and receive feedback from customers.

I performed all design and development work associated with the creation of the site. It was written using the WordPress framework, starting from an existing, simple theme, and customizing the theme to match a previously agreed upon design.

Unfortunately, the restaurant went out of business before the website was complete, and as a result, the site never went live.

RB Lawn and Services Website

This project involved creating a new website for a small lawn care company in Ames, IA.

The purpose of the website was to give the lawn care company a place to inform potential clients of the services they performed and provide contact information, as well as a place to showcase their current work/projects.

I performed all design and development work associated with the creation of the site. It was written entirely using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery), and using some PHP functionality for the contact form.

Unfortunately, the site is no longer in use.
