Gabriele Law Firm Website

This project involved the creation of a new WordPress based website for a law firm.

The purpose of the new website was to act as the main website for the law firm, including information and advice on all the areas of law in which the firm specializes, as well as providing various ways to contact the members of the firm.

The website design was based on a premium WordPress theme, with a few custom modifications. I was not the primary developer for this project. My involvement was to take over development near the end of the project to fix issues and apply further customizations for website. The fixes and modifications to the site were made using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP, as well as utilizing additional WordPress plugins as necessary.

Classroom Observation Tool Website

This project involved the creation of a new WordPress based website for a classroom observation web application.

The purpose of the new website was to act as the marketing website for the iCOR observation tool, including information about the application and providing various ways to contact and connect with the iCOR community.

The website design was based on a premium WordPress theme. Development consisted of the setup of the purchased theme, and the addition of content from an existing, old website.

Hospital Mobile Website

This project involved the creation of a new WordPress based mobile website for a hospital system.

The purpose of the new website was to act as a simplified website to deliver the most important information about the hospital system on a mobile device. The mobile website also provided new functionality in the form of a prescription refill form.

The mobile site design was based on a premium WordPress theme, with a few custom modifications made to the design by an outside design consultant. Development started with the purchased theme, adding in the designed changes as necessary. The modifications to the theme were made using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP, as well as utilizing additional WordPress plugins as necessary.

Mosquitno Website

This project involved the creation of a new WordPress based website and applying a new design to an existing shopping cart website for a company that manufactures mosquito repellant products.

The purpose of the new website was to act as a marketing site for the companies products. The re-skinning of the existing e-commerce website was to make the design match that of the new marketing website.

The marketing site design was based on a premium WordPress theme, with a few modifications. The redesign of the nsCommerceSpace (Network Solutions) based e-commerce site was accomplished using HTML, CSS, and a proprietary scripting language used by nsCommerceSpace, nsScript, to match the look of the marketing website.

The websites have since been updated and these versions of the sites are no longer accessible.

Sign Company Website

This project involved creating a simple WordPress based microsite to showcase image galleries for a signage company.

The purpose of the website was to allow the signage company to easily add and update galleries for recently completed sign projects.

My involvement included implementing and laying out the image galleries for the microsite. The galleries were implemented using a WordPress plugin, with some modifications (using PHP and Javascript) to match the output with the desired look and functionality. They were laid out using HTML and CSS.

Case Studies Website

This project involved creating a simple WordPress based website to showcase recent case studies for the Mersoft Corporation.

The purpose of the website was to allow Mersoft to easily add and update case study pieces written to showcase the company’s abilities.

I performed all the design and development work necessary to create the microsite. It was written using the WordPress blog framework, starting from an existing, simple theme, and customizing the theme using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP to perfectly match the look and feel of existing, main website. Unfortunately, the site is no longer used.

Religious Organization Website

This project involved converting an existing church website to use the WordPress framework.

The purpose of the website was to give the church a place to provide information regarding upcoming events, group meetings, and contact information, as well as provide links to recent podcasts of sermons.

I performed all the development work necessary to transfer the site. It was written using the WordPress framework, starting from an existing, simple theme, and customizing the theme using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP to match the previous design.

Unfortunately, this version of the website is no longer used.

Cafe Seed Website

This project involved creating a new website for a small restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri.

The purpose of the website was to give the restaurant an online presence in which to provide business and menu information, as well as act as a forum for providing information on upcoming events, and receive feedback from customers.

I performed all design and development work associated with the creation of the site. It was written using the WordPress framework, starting from an existing, simple theme, and customizing the theme to match a previously agreed upon design.

Unfortunately, the restaurant went out of business before the website was complete, and as a result, the site never went live.
